Evoking nature is a great way to highlight the calming, holistic benefits of therapy — but that use of nature can also become cliche if it's not personalized. Tapping into all of the little — and big — things that make us and our businesses unique is a sure-fire way to avoid that trap. For Sheri’s branding, we created a warm, comforting, and cozy environment that invites clients in, while feeling like home for her, too.
The mountain range in her primary logo? That’s the view of a mountain range at Silver Lake Campground, one of Sheri’s favorite places. The little cabin, evoking a safe location for clients to feel seen and heard? There’s a little cat in the window! Combining the big, important themes that translate to your ideal client with the tiny details that are meaningful to clients like Sheri is one of my absolute favorite parts of brand design, and it was an honor to do this work for her.
Sheri is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. For her private practice branding, Sheri knew she wanted something that connected with her clients, but felt personal to her, too. Her favorite season is winter in Northern California, but she also loves lush, green garden spaces. Her favorite flowers are poppies, and she is especially drawn to warm colors found throughout nature. Oh! And she is a self-described cat person.
